(3) Country Report:
China is a vast country located in East Asia. According to
Global Sherpa website, “China has influenced the course of international development for thousands of years. With more than 1.35 billion people (even with the one child per family policy), China accounts for roughly 20 percent of the total world population”(1). However, This policy is going to change according to global times news, “China's population of 1.35 billion will not see a major spike after the country relaxes the family planning policy to allow couples to have two children if one of the parents is an only child, authorities said on Saturday”(2).
There are many religions in China. For a country that is 1.35 billion it is not a strange thing. Buddhism is the most follower religion in china with “a figure of 100 million Buddhist believers”(3). Daoism is also one of the biggest religions in china, “there are “over 100 million” Daoists in China” (4).
